I. Introduction to the Scholarship

The "USTB International Student Dingxin Scholarship" is established by the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) to attract more high-caliber international students and scholars to study at USTB, and to promote the internationalization of USTB’s education.

II. Scholarship Benefits

Full Scholarship: Covers tuition fees, on-campus accommodation, living allowance, and comprehensive medical insurance.

Partial Scholarship: Covers one or several items included in the full scholarship.

III. Funded Programs

This scholarship supports enrollment in undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs. The scholarship duration is 4 years for undergraduate students, 2–3 years for master’s students, and 4 years for doctoral students.For master’s and doctoral program applications, it is recommended to prioritize applying for USTB’s Chinese Government Scholarship – High-Level Postgraduate Program (which also provides an opportunity to be considered for the Dingxin Scholarship).

The scholarship duration is determined based on the period of study specified at the time of admission, and generally cannot be extended.

Students must participate in the annual scholarship review; only those who pass the review will continue to receive the scholarship funding.

IV. Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health.

Applicants for undergraduate programs must hold a high school graduation certificate and be under 30 years old.

Applicants for master’s programs must hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 40 years old.

Applicants for doctoral programs must hold a master’s degree and be under 45 years old.

Note: The application fee is non-refundable regardless of the admission result.

VII. Admission and Notification

USTB will announce the admission results by the end of June 2026, and send electronic versions of the admission letter, Form JW202, and other materials via the official email (admission@ustb.edu.cn) in July 2026.Note: All admission materials will be provided as electronic scanned copies, which can be used to apply for a visa at Chinese embassies or consulates abroad. Original paper copies can be collected after registering at the university.

Newly admitted students must bring the original bachelor’s/master’s degree certificates and graduation certificates to undergo re-verification of admission qualification during registration.

The scholarship qualification will not be reserved for students who fail to arrive at the university for registration as required.
