高能机械研磨制备铁氧体的研究

PREPARATION OF FERRITE BY HIGH-ENERGY MECHANICAL MILLING

  • 摘要:通过高能机械研磨的方法直接将ZnO和α-Fe 2O 3混合粉末合成尖晶石型铁氧体粉末,采用高能机械研磨和热处理相结合的工艺,由BaO、ZnO和α-Fe 2O 3制备超细晶的BaZn 2Fe 16O 27型六角铁氧体,采用X射线衍射(XRD)分析不同研磨时间ZnFe 2O 4和BaZn 2Fe 16O 27铁氧体形成的化学反应过程,研究发现ZnFe 2O 4反应过程分阶段进行,反应合成的ZnFe 2O 4铁氧体粉末的平均晶粒度小于10nm;通过机械研磨和热处理相结合的工艺可以制取晶粒尺寸为100~200nm的超细晶BaZn 2Fe 16O 27铁氧体粉末。

    Abstract:Spinel ferrite ZnFe 2O 4powders were synthesized directly from ZnO and α-Fe 2O 3mixtures by high-energy mechanical milling(HEMM). BaZn 2Fe 16O 27(Zn 2-W) ferrite powders were prepared by HEMM and subsequent heat treatment using the mixture of BaO,Zno and α-Fe 2O 3. X-ray diffraction (XRD) was used to investigate phase structure of powder obtained from the chemical reaction processing at different milling time. It has been found that the solid reactions between metal oxides take place step by step. Grain sizes of ZnFe 2O 4are less than 10nm. Ultrafine BaZn 2Fe 16O 27(Zn 2-W) ferrite powder (100nm~200nm) has been synthesized by HEMM and subsequent heat beatment.
