SMALL SURFACE AREA MEASURED BY ABSORPTION OF CONTINUOUS FLOW ARGON

Abstract

In order to completely eliminate the influence of thermal diffusion a new type of simple sample cell for determining the small surface area of powder and sintered compacts was designed and argon was used as absorbate, therefore the surface area as less as 0.01m ²can be determined by continuous flow method.
